here's more
the gap:
Summation:
my car, unlike myself, is photogenic. The spoiler needs some finishing touches, ie the top edge. I'm dissapointed in the quality of the lip however. It came without a reciept, mounting hardware, or any drilled holes. It did come with free silicone, and lots of it. Silicone is used in the production process to help separate the polyurethane from the mold in the final stages of the casting process. The paint guy put stripper and thinner to it 3 times, used adhesive promoter, painted it, and the paint still didn't stick. So he had to strip everything down to the polyurethane again, sand it with some special compound, and do the process all over again.
I did feel more downforce on the highway this afternoon though (placebo effect)!
