No, that was the header, cat, AND exhaust. The car acutally feels considerably faster, but "the seat of the pants feel" is usaully more the imagination than anything. If I didn't know the history of the car, I might think there were some mechanical problems (and there could be), but this guy babied this thing. Who knows huh?

well have you compared midrange? you might not yield a higher top end but your low end and midrange may be improved. You might yield the same max horsepower but gain 20 in midrange...

My initial gains midrange were only about 4whp. I'll be anxious to see if Polk's dyno reads the same. I will say that midrange is where I "feel" the most gain.

Hey Mason, I'm scheduled to get tuned at Polk Wednesday. If you don't have to work hit me up and you could catch a ride with me so you can talk to the guys.

if you could get a VAFC or some cheap piggy back unit you could take more advantage of the few mods you have. I know it can be frustrating to spend that kind of money and not receive high yield gains. Honestly from what i have learned...if you want the most bang for your buck, besides a turbo, get gears

I acutally have access to a VAFC II that I had on my 99' Civic Si. I don't know why I haven't thought about using it before.
