Mason, If the group want to eat lunch in nearby Russellville, AR after visiting Mount Nebo, I recommend Colton's Steak House & Grill, 2320 N. Arkansas Ave (Hwy 7), Russellville, AR 72802, Tel (497)880-2333. Their website is: www.ColtonsSteakhouse.com and it lists their
Russellville restaurant hours as daily, 11 AM to 10 PM. The Fall 2008 BMT had supper there, and Julie and I got only good comments
about service and food. If you decide we will eat lunch there, it would be advisable to call them and let them know about what time
we can be expected and about how many people to expect. On BMT events, we have called the restaurant at least 20-minutes before
expected arrival time with a headcount.

 

I am skipping out on Saturdays drive but I will be driving from Little Rock the morning of to meet up with you guys for this drive still. See everyone then!

Jerome, this sounds good to me. I'll try to get in touch with them this evening or tomorrow in order to make sure it won't be a problem. Based on the feed back I've gotten thus far, I don't anticipate there to be more than 10-15 of us all together (that's counting on a few of the BMW guys joining us). Once we know for sure, I'll get them a head count (as you suggested).

I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone, and meeting some new people as well!

 

Mmm, Colton's sounds good to me, too. Looks like we'll be showing up in Enrique's new daily (an '05 TL). Seriously doubt that we'll go all the way down to Hot Springs with y'all, but will definitely be making the drive with the group from Mount Ida to Mount Nebo and partake in some lunch at Colton's.

You're welcome Jerome! It's alway great to see you my friend! I sincerely hope that this may become an annual follow up to the Talimena Tour. I would love for the entire group to be able to make it down 7 to Hot Springs for a night. Hot Springs is such an awesome place! Downtown Hot Springs is a very nice place to visit, eat, drink, and hang out!

I still love the idea of an Arkansas wine country tour! You mentioned it in a post quite a while back, and I must say that I'm totally down. I've visited Mount. Bethel, and driven by Post Family Winery, as well as Wiederkehr Family Winery. I realize that driving, and drinking wine is not the most desirable of combinations, but as long as everyone keeps their cool, we should be good to go!

I love that we as an S2000 family can all get together for events such as this! Especially for me, it's not everyday that I run into a fellow enthusiast, so I love spending time with all of you guys! For any of you Facebook guys, feel free to add me / look me up! I would love to stay in touch with all of you!
