Default In the Shop Again!

Well my car has a small oil leak, enough to where i dont wanna drive it like that when we go to TDE and i could not find where it was coming from. looks like it starts by the alternator. anyways car is back in shop as they are trying to find it

Well at least your getting it fixed before! Keep us updated hope it's nothing serious.

found out its a crankshaft gasket that needs to be replaced... suppose to get back with me to see if its covered under warranty

just got a call, its a part they have to order and will be in tomorrow. It is covered under warranty though so thats a big plus. btw i just noticed the royal purple ad on here. i got a hook up on a vendor for that takes forever to get. anywho she hooked me up with 12 quarts of royal purple!! for 40 bucks. thats cheaper then going to walmart and getting the cheap stuff.

damn bobby hook me up i was running royal purple in my car but it started to get way to expensive i was paying more than $40 for 5 qts and a k&n filter

Checking for fluid leaks is part of the TDE tech inspection. We dont want oil on our track.

Bobby you should go to TDE website and print out the tech inspection sheet and have the mechanics do it while they have car up on lift.

Glad to hear it has been diagnosed and is being treated.

Brings to mind a question. Is this a common problem for AP1's ? Not saying for the small demographic we have here, but in general .
