Today was another great day for a top down drive. Temperature was 75 degrees with absolutely no traffic. I do a variation of this just about every Sunday morning. Have breakfast at Peppermill Restaurant on Severn at 7am. Today I drove Clearview to Bridge City. Take River Road North to Hahnville. Take a left on a deserted 1 1/2 mile road (Hwy 3160) and wind the S through all gears +117mph. Then rev match downshifting, engine braking to the railroad tracks. Accelerate through the sweeping left and right handers to Stop sign. Left on Hwy 3127 for another 80+ mph run to I-310 and over the bridge to River Road South on East Bank. Drive all the way to Audubon Park Mississippi River overlook. Read Sunday paper; then quick run out to Lakefront; back through City Park and I-10 to Clearview exit. Try to wipe the grin off my face.

Miss my S as well. Just moved here from TX and the accident rate here is scarey. Neighbor backed into my Z and destroyed the hood withing my first 3 weeks here. about 2k worth of damage. Kid didn't even have a license. I see bag crashes around my area (S. Carrollton by the Street car station) about every other day.
