Well argued with their home office for awhile today. Looks like I am going to have to drive back down to Alexandria wednesday to let the home office manager guy see them.

I sent him pictures of before (like a week ago after i got done cleaning them), and after (a few days ago after i got back home).... and apparently that still isnt enough...... he needs to see them in person......

In the end, all this gas money and time is probably gonna cost more than just gettin the things freakin repaired..... but i think at this point its the principal.... that and if i just say 'forget you' at this point then they are gonna claim something like 'well we tried to work with him to correct the issue'

well met with them this morning. Started out the guy just showing me the 'standard' process and repeating that there is no way the shop did it. Repeating that its not enough damage for his machine to do it or by dropping the wheel, and too much damage for it to be done by hand with a pry bar. Then I sorta lost it, after calmed down he agreed that he would take the wheel to a guy he knows to get repaired, and that he believes that i think i know what my wheel was like before hand and that he is doing this cause i remind him of his son.... wow... so i had to let my pride take a hit, but idc as long as my wheel gets repaired.

I understand his position, and i am sure there are people all the time that try and rip him off for something that happened by hitting a pothole..... but oh my all those unhonest people make it REALLY hard for the honest people to not get taken advantage of..... geesh.

All good ideas. From what I hear, Jim is a stand-up guy so hopefully they at least get taken off of the tirerack preferred installers.

I am getting close to putting new tires on mine too so I feel your pain. I had Donnie's in LR do my girlfriends Sentra they did really good, but I'm in Conway now so not sure who to use.
Hey James. We has a s2k owner at Honda world on dave ward. He does a pretty good job. I can text u the number if u want.

Glad to hear something is getting moved on this. Persistence is the key. I would have kept going if they would have said no. I am in a fight with dish network now. I cancelled my service and they said I owe them the box as I "signed" saying it was a lease. Well paying 500 bucks up front isnt a lease to me so I am getting the BBB involved.

yea, I knew Dustin worked there, but last I talked to him is is always busy. I'm still a little bit away from being able to afford the front tires. Shane hooked me up with a gently used set of oem rears, so just trying to save some money to order the fronts. I was just going to go with a cheaper tire, but since Shane gave me such a sweet deal on his used rears, I want to get matching fronts.

well, only thing is that if you want to keep your complete set then you are sort of signing yourself up to keep getting those Bridgestone OEM. I know those OEM tires are not cheap by any means. If I were in your position the front set that I would go for would be whatever I wanted to go to eventually (once the used rears burn up in 10k miles or so)

My rears last a lot longer than 10k. Bought my car with 24k on it and it now reads 47k and just now need to replace the rears.
