I valeted the s one time at the Marriot (only weeks old at the time). I tipped the guy up front and asked him to make sure it was parked so as not to get dents. They treated it well and did not put miles on the car.

Well... if you feel better bringing the shaggin wagon instead of the S2K then go for it!

I really think that a class hotel like the one you are staying at would be fine.

When you buy a car you can either keep it or drive it, but you can't do both.

When I got my dings etc... it took a while for me to get over them. Now at 67,000 miles I just call it character

LOL----Shaggin' Wagon--- Can't wait to call it that in front of my wife. She's a good ole "Southarn Bap-test Gal" but she will get a kick out of it.

Man, don't tell anybody, but priceline.com is da bomb for making hotel reservations.

When you buy a car you can either keep it or drive it, but you can't do both.
This is the part where I bitch, whine, moan and then with a look of utter resignation, realize what you say is true.

When I got my dings etc... it took a while for me to get over them. Now at 67,000 miles I just call it character

If I can valet the Viper in New Orleans and not worry about it, you guys can do the S without any.

I pulled into the valet at the grand a month or so ago. You should have seen the valets face......my buddy with me yelled "GO FERRIS BUELLER!!!!"

That is my $.02.....and no, I won't let Mark Valet it!!!!

Got back about 2:00 pm today. Yep! Took the S2K. Yep! Worried about it the whole time I was there. Yep! The valet parked it. Nope! Didn't leave a mark on it. Wasn't any way I could park it. I did do the post it note thing, with the mileage on it. The valets were very nice and professional, my concern was basically, that they were so busy, that they would make a careless mistake. They didn't. No one will ever care for your property as much as you do yourself. Yet, the generous tip I gave them did seem to help. After that first door ding is there, it won't matter so much.
I did see two S2Ks in N.O. A yellow one driving thru the Quarter yesterday. A white one, top up, on I-10 today. Also saw a Hummer Limo., thought that was pretty cool.
