We (SCCA region 12) will be hosting an Evolution Performance Driving School http://autocross.com/evolution/ in Pensacola on March 22nd. We still have a few slots open. The cost will be $200 for the Phase I school. If you are interested please contact me ASAP to reserve your spot.

This is not to take anything away from our school on the 9th or Chips school the next week because you will learn a great deal from all of them. The Evo School is much more expensive and the instructors are National Champs who have proven that not only can they drive but that they can teach too. Most SCCA National Champions have taken these schools and swear by them. If you are interested in really learning to autocross or gaining a great deal of car control and skill you've got a chance to go through 3 great schools in March. It would take many years to gain the amount of experience you're being offered in just a few weeks.

Yes sir it will be at the same airfield. It will be on a slightly different spot than you'll be running on the 9th because I need to use some of that space for something else on the 22nd. They will still have about 150 ft. X 1500 ft. to use though.

Hope you can make it -- and stay for the autocross on the 23rd.

 

Well Gengster, you scored the 11th spot out of 12 total. Shortly after I talked to you a guy from Jackson called and took the last spot. 30 minutes later a guy called wanting to pay for two spots and I had to tell him he was out of luck. You just barely made it.

Are you coming over on the 21st? Maybe we can get together for dinner -- or maybe you'd be better off doing something nice for your wife that night...

Has anyone cancelled. I now would like to go if there is a spot available. As sucky as I drove last weekend I really think I need it to get any better.

Phil, so far no one has backed out. I may try to put a another one of these together in a few months.

We will have an event on Sunday and while there will be no instruction per se, you would have fun and gain seat time.

Phil I think you did great. I am very happy with my progression. Even though my last run wasn't my best.. things were starting to slow down for me.
