well i drive my company car (mazda323) like a rental car so i scrape everywhere. ahaha what speed bumps!!
Hmm If everything goes okay i'll get some buddy clubs if I decide the s2000 is the route I want to take.
As for parking, when I go out, I just park wherever is convenient, I dont necessarily park in a agarage all the time. but i think thats due to my car i'm driving now. it may change later.
I'm looking for the Berlina black or champ white or MC blue ap1 02+ motor/body/rear glass
or
black on black bmw 540i 5 speed
or
Suzuki gsxr 1000.
HAHHA what a range huh? but I guess each one covers a category.
for financing out here does the bank require full coverage? how much do you guys pay in insurance for the year?

Well, car thefts have come down a bit in the last few years, but I don't think it's still prefectly safe. Perhaps I'm more paranoid than most people are.
As for insurance, I believe you do need full-coverage for financing. But you should double check. Most places will quote you 23K to 30K a year if you have no insurance history in Hong Kong -- they did no accept my history from the US, even though I had the same damn car before. However, with a good history, some insurance companies should be able to bring that premium down to 10K level for full-coverage.

HK roads do suck, and you may not want a slammed car here.
But I cannot say roads in HK is bad compared to NYC though.....

Well, NYC's roads are terrible in the sense that you've potholes everywhere, because of the all the trucks running through them and salt kill the pavement. Also the roads aren't flat.
However, HK's roads are flat, but are rough in the sense that they have a lot of tiny grooves and are made from concrete instead of asphalt.
Anyway ... I guess you'll know it when you see it hehe

the roads are never ever finished. meaning. they'll do alittle section here. a little section there.. its like driving on raods that someone just pours a little concrete here and alittle concrete there.

Concrete is nice......lots of grip....
Evos are perfect for HK I think. Most of the time you can't go above 3rd gear, yet roads are not perfect an not asphalt ...
