Default Karting/ Circuit days

Does anyone go Karting? I've never done it, but would love to try. I live down in Yokohama, but I can travel around. I figure it would be a good way to get to learn to drive fast.

Also, does anyone take their car for a Circuit Day?, maybe at Tsukuba, Motegi, Suzuka or Fuji speedway. Again, I've never done it, but would like to have a go.

Hi Kevin,
Welcome to the forum. Its pretty quiet in here.

We are thinking of arranging some go karting this Sunday actually but havnt finalised the plans yet. Will let you know.

There are some good track days around. I would recommend you to do the Honda basic S2000 training at Motegi, I have done this in my NSX and it is very very good fun indeed and you learn a lot. Talk to your Verno dealer to find out the next dates available. If I remember correctly it costs about 120,000 and includes 2 days on track, Hotel and food.

BTW, we have regular get togethers with a few other car owners (RX-8, S2000 etc) so please join us sometime!
Regards
Kye

thanks for the reply. How did you find my posting? I looked on the Japanese S2000 Owners but couldn't find my own posting (still can't). However, when I click on my "Red One" profile I can see what I have posted, plus see the replies. Am I doing sopmething dumb?

karting would be fun, and maybe I'll do the Motegi thing in the early spring. however, am running short of cash having bought the car!!

I'll check my profile again alter to see your reply...
