speed limiter

which is it? i need to know so i would know which gadget to get. help me! i got my honda s2000 from japan 2000 model. any ideas? tnx

I think it acts by cutting the fuel for a second. At least that's how it feels on my RX-7. I've never hit 180 with my S2000 yet.

it may cut the fuel.. the car judders/stutters once you hit 180km/h for more than a few seconds..

but the operation is still controlled within the JDM ECU program..

for example.. if you swop the JDM ECU with a Mugen one.. the speed limit is removed.
