The best trip that I ever did in Japan was from Tokyo to Kyushu, around Kyushu then to Hiroshima, then to Shikoku Island (absolutly beautiful) then, kobe, Kyoto, Nara, Nagoya and back. The roads around Kyushu are pretty empty and fantastic, scenery in Shikoku is amazing thou.

Hi there James.

My Japanese is terrible.

the trip took 8 days in total, was fantastic but very expensive !!

Had a great blast down to Hakone Ashinoko skyline yesterday morning, will probably go down there this weekend also maybe on Sunday if you are interested.

I have been to Motegi a few times with the NSX but never with the S, heading to Suzuka on the 18th of October but again with the NSX ...

I can find out when the next owners meeting for S2000 will be held at Motegi, usually the instructors/professional drivers speak English aswell as Japanese (the last NSX owners meeting was no problem).

Are you in Tokyo, meeting for a beer is always easy!
I'm in Tokyo. So I am always up for some beers if we can arrange it. October is totally out for me, perhaps November?
A day out at Motegi is high up on my to do list. Whether it's karting, safety training or the driving forum, it all sounds good to me.
I received a S2000 owners forum event flyer too. Number of participants are limited to 24 and held about 3 times a year (from memory). The last one this year is October 19-20 (50,000 yen). Good to hear that the instructors can manage English. My Japanese is bad too. Looks like I'll have to wait until next Spring

Owning both the NSX and S2000 That's still only fantasy for me

I wanted to join the S2000 owners meeting on 19-20 but at the same time there is the NSX meeting in Suzuka, guess where I am going!!

Sure lets hook up in November, maybe arrange a tour somewhere if the weather is nice.

Hi there James,
A friend and I will be going to Motegi for the weekend of 29/30 of November as there is a Honda festival on, vintage racing and all the old F1 cars etc, should be good. He ordered a new Integra-R last night, delivery in 3 weeks ..... if you want to join let me know.
