Default Anyone else think the new Alfa Spider is hot?

Chatswood Toyota have a used Alfa Spider on their forecourt at the moment in a really nice metallic blue, looks awesome!

Did some checking on the Alfa web site though and the AWD 3.2 V6 manual with 190kw only manages 0-100km in 6.8, serious power loss through the drivetrain there me thinks!! Either that or it weighs a couple of tons.

I am really liking the styling of the current Alfas, there is a 159 at work that has the same front end as the Spider, looks really mean.

Anyone had a drive in the new Spider? At $90k it is very pricey, even the used one in Chatswood is up for ~$80k.

Yeah I saw one the other night and agree it looks hot. Shame about the Wrong Wheel Drive and price.

The 3.2 V6 is AWD (All Wheel Drive) though, I guess competing directly with the TT.

I drove the new 2.2L FWD version last year, or was it earlier this year, I think i posted some pics up of it. A seriously HOT car!!! Love the shape, everything is bad in this car, the car had a faulty electric side mirror, the steering was so vague, gearbox was vague, too much body roll, handling was bad, even with no power at all it still managed to lose traction...

But if your into posing, I can not think of a better way for the price, easily looks 150K IMO! Red or Black with a cream interior mmmmm...I was supposed to get a call back for the 3.2 V6 version but never got it haha

Fisty drove his mummy's 1-month old Spider into a creek back in 2000.

Mummy was in NZ and had told Fisty not to drive it while she was away.

Fisty got in wotsa wotsa twubble.

I'm guessing you're not big on the Competizione then:
