[QUOTE=tak_one_77,Aug 22 2007, 01:44 PM] My opinion is that the Germans have the supercar market stitched up.

I agree but from the Germans also have an uncanny knack of removing passion from their cars. Take the R8. Great car on paper but a tad soulless in reality.
I agree. for stuff like rs4's, they're pretty non-eventful to look at. Particularly when they release it in a station-wagon......
But performance is nothing to be sneezed at.

That said, the Audi-fication of Lamborghini is the bst thing that ever happened to them. I'd still rather a Diablo and all it's gremlins over a Murcielago if I got to keep the price difference.
Thats just Audi.......

Its either Italian flair or German substance. Audi are getting there however.

Substance over style for me anyday.

One of my clients gave me an interesting argument, he has the Gallardo, and a Diablo Vt. He dialy drives the Gallardo, but says the Diablo is an "animal". But he said the best car he has ever driven and owned is the Honda NSX, his son inherited that off him, its a red 97 model.

Speaking of supercars i just saw the Noble M15 on TopGear the other night. I know we get the shows a couple of years behind but I had never seen this car. I always liked the nobles but this one looks like a Ferrari 360 rip off...

My uncle daily drives his Murcielago

I had a look on one of the classifieds sites and the AM interior looked very bland to me
