Button the half world champion in a superior car that couldnt pass the 7 time world champ.

So far on the track (not in the pits) he has been outdriven and out qualified by Hamilton.

I thought they couldn't overtake until they had crossed the start/finish, but the rules allow it, it was dirty but I liked it.

the German breached Article 40.13 of the Sporting Regulations, which states that “if the race ends whilst the safety car is deployed it will enter the pit lane at the end of the last lap and the cars will take the chequered flag as normal without overtaking."

Mercedes will appeal the stewards' decision.

Agreed. He won it in Qualifying and only had to avoid trouble and not do anything stupid to keep it in the Race. Something he has had trouble with in the past.

I guess the point is overtaking isn't just a matter of being a poofteenth quicker. You have to be a quite a bit quicker and a lot craftier. I think Schuey has lost the speed but none of the craftiness, as he showed on the last lap at Monaco.

 

I agree with ya.. craftiness is still there... maybe he just needs a competitive car to have a real go.
