Default couple of pics of my ute

Some will know that I sold my S2000 to buy a house and was driving a lancer for a while and then some time ago, in fact almost a year ago, I bought my triton. I've left it stock for a while but the bug got me again so I've now modded it a little.

This is with a 50mm lift kit and 33" (285/75/16) tyres. Very different but still a lot of fun in a different way.

Enjoy and feel free to post up what you think

Cheers. I should also note that the nudge bar is off temporarily and the car is filthy

Why the lift kit? You doing some serious off-roading?

If you took the side steps off you wouldn't need to have done the lift kit.

No its not really bouncy at all quite a nice firm ride with the new suspension.

Beaver, saying that I wouldn't need the lift kit if I took the suspension off is as intelligent as saying one wouldn't need to lower a car they could just put some bricks in the boot. The larger suspension allows more travel, more clearance and to a certain limit (wrt cog) more stability.

The side steps aren't always the lowest point and they do have a couple of purposes. First is to make it easier getting in and out second is sill protection. Don't worry though they'll be getting replaced by something more solid soon enough.

black, fuel economy is generally better than the honda was at around 10l/100kms with my 3.2L common rail diesel turbo.

I wouldn't call what I get up to serious off roading I just like to be able to get to camp spots every other joe can and not have to damage my car doing it. That and I like the look
