Yeah i'm reporting it today... Mate made a valid comment that they could easily report me to the cops in that i came into their lane and caused the accident...

i doubt it with such a minor scrape, if it was a hard impact with some cracking of the panel, then most probably, but if its a tiny scrape, then unlikely

you never know , it might only be a scratch on the bumper, but the hit may have cracked a bracket or clip that holds the bumper . Always good to get an expert opinion .

took the M5 on the way home - ripped the air box off and was just hammering it thru the tunnel

Cool - I haven't been to Maggies yet, I only found out it was there recently. I hear Una's does a pretty good pork knuckle also.

If you are back in your old hunting grounds Vuey, there is the German-Austrian club at Cabramatta that does good food also, make sure you go on an empty stomach.

Sorry to hear that Matt. At first I thought it was similar to my one, 3 lane roundabout, Indian couple, hit on the side rear. They also swapped drivers as well, coz the other one wasn't insured. But then your one had a bit of a chase going on.
Keep us posted on what the police do. Regardless of what they say, they took off after a hit (regardless of who was at fault). People like that deserve the worst.

hey man Aus is right, if they make a runner its a instant at fault for them.

preferrably it should have been reported within 24hours and try not to move from the spot where they last took off and you lost them.

damage or no damage they deserve to be reported... you got their plates right?

cause for all you know, if you decide to report this later on the car could have been in some dodgey repairer on theirs (if they had any damage) and the claim would be rubbish.

better sooner then later man ... and sorry to hear what happened
