SSC is a Sydney tuner/workshop. Reputable status in the Lotus community.

The other alternative is to just buy an 09 STi hatchback and not worry about buying a Falcodore station wagon for work anymore.
though about an 09 Golf GTI ? great value , and they are bringing out a Golf GTI-R to replace the R32 .

I've always wanted to own an Elise
but if your heart is set on the Elise then go for it !

BTW, Chris Barry has a line on K24 conversions for Elises.

A series one Elise with a K24 is my ultimate track day car.
If I were to buy an elise or exige I'd want to do that which makes me think, is it a 60k chassis and body? Though I suppose for $80k odd you'd have a bloody fast track car!

Around $30k now for an S1.

$40k approx for an S2 with Rover K series engine (and ugly long roof).

I will always be lurking about s2ki

Gotta stay true to my roots!

Whens the next drive day? The one in Aus2000's status?

Still got my DC2R at the moment - I better hurry up and sell it before I start dissecting that engine out

You never owned a S2K, so what roots are you talking about?

MYH has been around since the early days. Started his career snapping pics of us on drive days. He's now a fairly highly regarded motoring photographer and travels the world snapping cars.

I'd say that was some fairly strong roots with us.
