I have never dealt with Honda Australia about my car, only through the HSCC and that was for Indy.
Scotts is my dealer and they have fully serviced the car and are like any other car dealer I have dealt with. I suppose my only gripe with them is that I asked them to provide me a quote for them to replace my shock absorbers (parts and labour) 4 weeks ago and they haven't responded. Maybe they don't want the business.

i am overwhelmed with my dealer and service centre. but then again, they were either the number one or number two ranked honda service centre in australia for the past 5 years (number 1 last year) and they have handled all warranty issues and all my problems, none really to date except for a rattling passenger door that still needs to be located

Bernie,
Strongly recommend Trivett Classic Honda. Been with them for about 3 years, never had a complaint. Been to a couple others who deliver late, don't have courtesy cars, even one who scratched my windscreen trying to clean it.
Try 'em out a few times. Out Parramatta way.

I have bought two Honda's from John Blair Prahran, and had them serviced there for years, however given the recent revelations about service charges compared to other dealers, I have moved to Robert Lane who do a good job.
However my main complaint is that I do not believe that I would get a better level of service out of either dealerership if I owned a Jazz or Civic and had them serviced there. There is no real recognition that we are premium customers who expect the little extras that make the difference!

I voted yes.
I have had my 1000 and 10000 services at Rick Damelian.
There were no real problems.
But if it was out of 10 I would only give them 8 since they did not find the cause of a squeak in the suspension(?).

I have to confess that I think the 'Acura' idea in the US is quite good.
Split your market in two; prestige and consumer. Basically you can buy the more up market Honda's badged as 'Acura' from an Acura dealer and get a higher level of service.
It is kind of ironic that the S2000, as a celebration of Honda's 50th anniversary, is only sold through Honda dealers not Acura.
