Hello S2KI'ers.

Just noting that I turned 3 today Woo. I am still around. I just finished my VCE this year and haven't been around all that much. But you could never get rid of me so i'll stop the celebrations before they start

I guess this is the ideal time to say that I just have bought my first car Unfortunately the S2000 did not get within the budget like I had hoped for 3 years ago when I just joined HAHA. So this machine will be joining you on the roads soon -

A 2001 7th Gen GLi Civic is a GPW S2000 in my eyes at least I should be picking her up today or tommorow.

I found this car on Carpoint in the VCE Centre of my school when I was meant to be studing. That very day, I took the bus down the road to the dealer it was at (Ringwood Car City, so local ) and fell in love. I then visited it often. Finally showed the parents and after constant nagging and stating "This is the one", put a deposit on JUST before some other guy did and got it inspected by the people at RACV. It was all good, except the radio needed a security code punched in as it didn't work HAHAHA. It's a MANUAL - which makes up for my lack of Vtec.

I still have a few months before I turn 18 so I am aiming to get as much practise in a manual as I can. If any of you wish to trade cars for a day or so, I am willing to take up that offer Hey, everyone loves a Civic!

Thanks for helping to keep the Honda spirit in me in the past years! S2KI is a great community I hope I can join the Melb crew on a cruise so I can finally put some faces to name. I hope the granny Civic won't cramp your style

Thanks everyone!

(Also a REAL Happy Birthday to Cashout - in which I think it is his birthday )

Well done mel, on the car and the VCE.

you'll be tearing up the streets in no time.

The civic looks great, better speak to Matt, apparently he knows a bit about modding civics, but he never puts up pics, so who would know

Laters,

Congrats on starting the rest of your life Mel and the new car. Let us know how the Civic goes, I'm looking for a similar car myself.

Hi Mel. Congratulations on the new car - It looks really nice!

Now you've got no more excuses for not coming on our next drive

I'm sure you'll be happy with the Civic. I've had two in recent years. The first was a silver/grey 1991 hatchback which I did a lot of Kms in before trading it in on a 1999 White 4 door with CVT in 1999. Both were trouble free!

Great choice of car Mel. My wife had a 2001 civic coupe in the US and she loved it!.

And thanks for remembering my BD. Good to know that someone at S2KI cares.
And ofcourse Happy 3rd S2ki birthday!!
