When I got mine there was no AP2, Id look at getting an 04 if I was in the market now. I wouldn't want the modding hassle of DBW. AP2 looks better. Only AP1 part I have retained is the rear bumper which I like better.

I bought the AP2 on the basis of the way it drives, not the way it looks. I find stock for stock the ap2 feels a lot more planted on the road.

stock for stock it would feel more planted due to new wheel/tyre setup something that is generally upgraded on most AP1s.

do the AP2s have traction control and are you able to turn it off? would suck if you couldn't.

DBW + VSA = POO

When I first drove my mates 06 I thought something was wrong with it, then realised oh wait its got dbw, so dam laggy not a fan at all.

At least you can turn off vsa

Each to their own looks I guess, I only like the ap2 rear tails, everything else I prefer ap1. Besides interior ap2 interior is quite teh sex.

I'd heard that too about the DBW. It makes sense as there is a process that happens between putting your foot down and the throttle body being actuated.

IIRC DBW is 06 onwards, not specifically AP2?
