Default Clutch problems

Been having this trouble with my clutch...

Here is the problem:
When you step on the pedal it is very hard and notchy to press it down all the way and when you do release it, it is very notchy and not smooth.

History.
I installed a new clutch and pressure plate (excedy OEM), Worked fine then slowly built up to how it is now...
Installed new Master cylinder... no change
Installed new Slave cylinder... no change
Lubed throw out fork.. no change
Lubed clutch rod.. no change
Lubed clutch pedal and arm.. no change
No squeeks...
I'm starting to think it could be the pressure plate?
Can a pressure plate fail? could this be the problem?

Just the other day i found out (the hard way) that my clutch is slipping at high rpms..
WTF is going on? Matt is sad cos he has a feeling he has to take the tranny out again

Hmmm, the only link missing seems to be the pressure plate. Sorry.

What you should do is pull the slave cylinder and use a long bar or screwdriver to operate the clutch fork. If you still feel the notchyness you know it is nothing upstream of that.

When you first installed it - did you break it in gently for the first 1000 Kms or so, or did you dump it hard right from the start?
