Yes Robert, and they've mentioned it in this thread.

lollll

i reckon after the evo 6-7 the shape of the car has gone downhill. But for $56k brand new with 10 year/160,000 kms warranty its good value. Spend a few K on body kits and the such and you should be able to make it look a lot better but yes the stock is just pitiful!

It has potential to look better than the old one. Remember that this model will have the GSR (similar to a WRX) selling beside the EVO (similar to an STi) models in the showrooms.

Also they have tended to get better looking with each model.

I prefer the Evo 3

Let's hope that the price is around there, but the latest rumors/reports have it in the $75 - $80k range. I hope (for the car's sake) that is not the case./

whoops i looked up the evo 9 on the website and that's priced at $56K brand new. my mistake.

75-80K is far too much, with that money you could get yourself a hell of a lot more in terms of looks, performance and badge.

i know a member from here took a EVO9 out for a test drive , 2mins into the drive he lost it and smacked into a gutter

$1500 excess for a 2min test drive . He says the S2000 can take the exact corner in a much higher speed than the Evo 9

I hear the EVO's are huge in Japan and out sell the STI 2:1 .

I think the Evo 10 ( at the right price ) might do well in Australia/ worldwide , as the next gen WRX / STi looks shit house IMO
