Anyone here able to tell me the designation for the front indicator globes.
After putting the chrome globes in my new clear side markers thought
the front would look good in the chrome as well.
Yes I kow I'm being lazy, could probably find out myself just thought someone might knw straight off. Thanks.

 

I don't know the answer off hand but I believe you can just give them a light spray with silver paint and they'll still flash orange kingy.

 

Only way I could find out is with a search and you can do that as well as me.

For my clear sides I used LED 194s. They are clear but light up orange. Ironically the base of them is orange but you can't see this through the clear side markers.

 

I did a bit of a search and it appears that UK cars use a bayonet
and US a wedge, well that seems to be what I read to be the case.
So I'm guessing we use a wedge as the side markers are
and also brake lights.
