Default Good alignment shop in Melbourne?

Reviving an old thread....

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?act=S...0&t=310295&st=0

Went to Beaurepairs Sunshine today and they claimed my car was too low to align to UK specs alignment and because of the oem lip.. they were getting inaccurate readings. They were not too happy when I pulled out the UK specs then they told me they were goin to align to Honda factory specs settings. I told them this was "Revised Honda Specs". Then they reckon it would take over 2 hours to complete the job if it was possible.

Just wondering where guys in melb get their alignments done?

Is anyone running UK specs alignment with stock 16" rims with S02?

Is UK specs ok for 18" rims or what is recommended?

Background.... car has been dropped about 1.5 inches with Ground Control suspension.

Thanks in advance Guys.......

Centreline are reputed to be one of the best - but unfortunately they're a long way from Sunshine

Beaurepairs in Burwood on Toorak Road...They charge $70-75, they make no fuss and only take an hour to achieve my aggressive settings.

Thanks guys.... Im actually in the inner city. The only reason i went to sunshine was because it was the closest place with a pit. Would be easier for me to take my car to Tyre Factory or Beaurepairs in South Melb but they dont have a pit and the oem lip will scrape going up a normal alignment ramp. Last alignment was performed at Tyre Factory Sunshine when 18's were fitted.. but on that monday the alignment guy pulled a sickie. Should have taken it to Pedders.

The issue is getting time off work to get it done before Winton this Sat, so was kinda pissed when I took time off work on Monday and couldnt get it done.

Any ideas on:

Is anyone running UK specs alignment with stock 16" rims with S02?

Is UK specs ok for 18" rims or what is recommended for 18" rims?

We'll be very interested to see what lap times you can get with 18" rims. Could you please post here on Monday?

Umm I have refittted the stock rims for Saturday... I was asking alignment questions for when I refit the 18" when I get back.
