if you spent one week on a honda logo, that would be one fastidiously prepared model!
It would indeed!! I meant I need a few more days to complete the project I am currently working on then I could take a look at this. Should only take a day or two if I concentrate on it.

this is intriguing, if you do it as a hobby, what is your profession Frisky? (if it's not too personal), and your just a jack-of-all-trades aren't you Aus?
I am a software support specialist with a long history in most aspects of business applications. Very dull really. That's why I spent the last couple of years doing a part time Diploma in 3D animation which I was hoping would be a career change but is ending up just as a hobby.

Hey Aus, the logo is almost finished, just rendering up a final version.

This is for your car display right?

Also, do you have a way to build it into a Flash file? Does it have to be Flash?

If you have a way to build a Flash file then let me know what format you want it in, I can do flat files (frames) or most types of video format.

Probably Quicktime MOV would be best. I have Flash and will muck about with it.

Thanks for this BTW.

Well, I got a bit carried away and now when I read the original request I am not sure this is actually what you want, might be too distracting ...

Honda Logo

Pretty easy to redo this with just the reflection moving but the logo remaining still if you would prefer that.

Generally quite hard to make an object that is highly reflective to look real when there are no other objects in the scene to reflect on it, so had to fake a reflection and thought this would not only be appropriate but also make this animation somewhat unique.

Anyway, let me know what you think.

And of course it can be done in mov format if you like, just did it as wmv to get it as small as possible for posting up here.
