I am in Vic, as is TWOK. Hopefully we'll also have Hiho and DavidM signed up as new Vic members soon.

Yes there is an HSCC in QLD. Infact, the Queensland chapter did the Driver parade at the Indy last year.

Contact Andrew Murray <andrew.murray@ljm.com.au> for details.

I just gotta get around to filling in the joining form ... I'll do it soon. Though, I don't really want to go track racing 'till I wear out my tyres (or come close to it). I took new tyres to the track once and killed the sidewalls and took of good 25% of their life in one day. What I do is keep the 'old' tyres and put them on the car for track days ... I will have less grip but I have a lot more fun as I don't care about sliding the car and wearing out the tyres. I think Winton sounds good for my 1st track event :-)

It's just amazing how fast the tyres go when you take them to the track.
