Default Insurance - who are you with ?

Hi all,

Just quickly, who are you with? Premium ? your rating
etc and so on............ also saves me calling all the
insurance co.

My S2k is currently with Zurich Insurance (all the
house and content and CRV are with them too). Paying
$2886 for comprehensive annually. I'm 25yo, rating 1,
NCB, no accident in last 5 yrs, in a low risk eastern
suburb...no mods.

Just want to do some comparison. Thanks heap..

Cheers
Tom

You really need to call all the insurers yourself. Different people seem to get widely varying quotes from the same insurer for unknown reasons.

I'm with Shannons, 65% NCB, 29 y.o. , high risk suburb in Sydney, $60k agreed value and my premium is $1800.

Shannons <---I thought they only insure Antique cars and modded cars. They dont want to know about standard (unmodified) cars.

I could be wrong.

Anymore...!!

Shannons told me to piss off too. They said they don't insure cars 1982 or later (or something like that). Remember last time I mentioned that it started a whole thread on Ben's S600?

AAMI, $2200. (no drivers can be under 30)
51 yrs old, male, 10+ years on max no-claim bonus.
Low-risk, Sydney suburb. Car being financed - not owned outright.

This was the cheapest quote I received. Others ranged to $4000.
NRMA and GIO would not insure this car, regardless of driver.

I forgot to mention: S2000, MY2001, agreed value $76000, excess $400.
