Default Invidia exhaust

I recently purchased Stain's Invidia 70mm exhaust.

When I installed the turbo funds were getting a little tight at the end so I decided on a 3" single with one muffler. It did the trick but was loud as hell.

Personally I like something a little more subtle.

The Invidia 70mm is considered one of the noisiest dual exhausts on NA but keep in mind Stain replaced the mid resonator/muffler with a larger Lukey unit and on my car there is a turbo muffling the noise up front.

Yesterday I removed the single muffler and exhaust system which includes a high flow cat. I installed the Invidia main pipe and two mufflers. There was 50cm between where my downpipe finished and the Invidia began. I cut the cat off my old exhaust at 51cm and put it in my boot.

This morning I drove to Cromer Exhausts with an open downpipe. Damn that is loud. They took my cut off cat and welded to it a flange to mate with the Invidia. I picked up this afternoon.

What a difference. The exhaust is actually quiet. Civilised even.

Thanks to Stain and Cromer Exhausts.

PS> If anyone wants my old 3" single it is for sale.

Mea culpa.

I spend so much time under the bonnet or under the car that I don't really notice the duco.
