Default Modifry DCI for my JVC head unit

Hey guys,

Im seeing if any of you guys can help me find the right DCI for my head unit.

The unit i have is a KDAVX2 JVC dvd unit and im not sure about which one to get.

preferably im after the wired unit as i wont be upgrading or downgrading head units anytime soon.

but the compatibility list for the witred DCI has my unit highlighted in yellow.. i dont know which category this is in.

Im going to order this asap and hopefully it lands in before christmas..

thanks guys

When asking for help you should make providing it as easy as possible.

Perhaps provide links to the pages you are confused about.

sorry this is the link with the JVC unit highlighted in yellow

http://www.modifry.com/products/dci/...patibility.htm

please elt me know if the wired one will work on my unit.

BTW the DCI allows you to use the standard controls over your aftermarket unit.

what im also querying is that the "CH" button is not to change tracks... can you make the button work for the function?

It would appear the colours just represent a year model. Yellow is 2006.

According to the site those in the first column will work with both and those in the second only with IR.

But it is also possible that there are differences between US and AU models.

Need to check with some locals who have that unit. I think Beaves might.

I recently ordered one for my Alpine, a wired DCI.

It allows you too use your dash controls volume, mute etc etc

The CH only changes the FM/AM frequency also what Aus said, your deck is supported being in the yellow column just means 2006.

Not sure if you can change the CH to change CD track just email bob@modifry.com and ask him, he's very helpful.

As long as you have a 3.5mm jack input on the back you should be ok.

If you hold CH and flick the Vol up or Down it changes Presets or Disks I believe.
