Not sure where you are located, but the place I have taken all my cars is Car-Tint in Ringwood. I've recommended them to many people who have always thanked me afterwards. The guy who runs it is a perfectionist to say the least. I know the s2k is a pretty easy car for them to do, but I wouldn't trust mine to anyone less.

cost me $55 for supposedly "top-of-the-line" Solace tint!
did a great job with the tint going right to the edge of the glass...its been 3 years and no problem at all.
btw - think I got a good deal re price as my mum's car was done at the same time.

You didn't happen to know him (Rob Tait) from your WRX days did you??
Whilst I have never had Rob tint any of my cars, I too have heard good things about his work.

For alarm, I've always gone with Code Alarm. You can get a setup plus microwave interior protection for about $600.
Tinting, I usually go to a mob called "The Tint Professor". Not all that cheap, about $195 for the S2k, 3 windows, but the work is terrific and it is metallised film, with liftime warranty. Can't go wrong. They pick up and deliver, but in the case of my S2k, I'm delivering it myself!!!

Yeh, I know Rob even before he got into the WRXs. I took my Civic to him in 1990 and have been back many times. I think he's personally tinted about 1/2 the WRXs in Melbourne
