That's very good (going by Jeffriess's times). Shame you have not had the S2000 there as I'm pretty sure you'd be on top. Looks like Jeffriess needs to cut abother 3+ secs :-)

Cool. When did you go? HOF updated. Also looks like Mrs. Slick has good 10secs to make up ;-)

Mrs Slick is still coming to terms with the 6 speeder

You only need 5 gears at Phillip Island. Hey, take her to Winton and she'll only need 4 ;-)

We have been to Winton, I must look up her times - will be going again July 11th I think.

- I probably could knock a second or two off my time, if I had very deep pockets or a death wish.
There are two corners at Oran which, taken even slightly wrong, will run you into a concrete wall at speed. I wanted to drive the car home.

Anyway, I wasn't suggesting that mine was a particularly good time, just a time. I'm still very much a novice at track driving. I understand that naishou has been driving for a long time. 52.0 is a very impressive time- maybe in a few years I'll give him a run for his money.

Hey, you got a quicker time there in an S2000 than anyone else can claim. Nothing to mock there .... I was just egging you (or anyone else) to get out to the track amd kick some WRX but ... we can't have them getting quicker times than us ;-)

We all want to be able to drive home, so just stay at the pace that you're comfortable with.

btw, how often do you do to the track Jeffries ... you seem to be a bit of a 'regular'?

A regular now, but still a novice. I did Luff's advaced and performance courses last year, and now I run in an unofficial lap dash about once a month, together with the days organised through the HSCC.
As I said above, give me a few more years and I might give naishou and other experienced drivers a run for their money. I wholeheartedly agree that we should be blowing these 'rex's off the hall of fame page.

I don't want to give the impression I'm some kind of old hand. I've done about 15 track days (the Oran Park time was set around the middle) and the way things are going probably won't do many more. It's more than most I guess but nothing to write home about.
