Is anyone a paid member of this site? Or is this a new thing? (see information post at top of forum list)

This is probably one of the most professional car sites I have seen and that in itself could justify a fee just as a show of appreciation.

Looking at the offerings, not sure what added value we would get though...

Not a "paid membership" thing. It *is* a new idea, however, for the site. Basically, cthree runs this site completely out-of-pocket -- and he does so not only at a monthly loss, but at a significant monthly loss. It had been suggested to him by members that he consider working up an opportunity for members to offer yearly donations to help this excellent site thrive. cthree has humbly ironed out a decent structure that includes additional features for those members interested in donating. It is completely voluntary.

Take a few minutes and read through Would you subscribe to s2ki.com? thread. You can see there just how this idea developed and the level of support cthree has garnered from the members here.
