Default Race brakes.

Went down to Race Brakes today and picked up a set of their Red C6 pads for the front brakes. Great deal at $135 changeover.

Boys do those things pong though (I'm talking about in the box here) - they smell like Uric acid.

In addition, they have so much metal in the pads - run your finger across the surface and it ends up full of iron filings. I hope these pads don't wear my rotors to bugary after one outing

Come on. Tell it like it is. They smell of cat piss. That's common for brake pads though. Let us know how they go.

Turkey:

I just put those in for my rears, but I didn't go sniffing them

They are squeaky, but it will probably go away once bedded in properly.

It will be interesting to see how they go/smell this weekend.

Er, sorry. I come from a family with 3 doctors and if you think that's bad you should see what they talk about at the dinner table.

So, how were the brakes?
