i get around the 300-350 mark and i'm banging the car around most of the time, mon-fri city driving in and out of work.
Anything over 400km means that your driving it gently, minimal VTEC, definately not much 9k rpms.

That figure included two runs with my mates G-tech. First launch bogged down: 7.0. Second run, clutch drop at 5500 and ran a 6.2sec 0-100 kph.
I take it that those are 0-60mph and not 0-100kph figures? I'm pressuming that it was one of those basic G'techs that measures 0-60mph and 1/4 mile time only. The newer ones (with a graph display) do both metric and inmperial measurments.
Can you clarify?
ps. If those figures are 0-60mph, then that's really 0-96.5kph. In order to 'estimate' the 0-100kph time from that, add ~0.3sec to the times.

From an earlier thread (Nov 2005) -- https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...0&#entry6521326
"On our trip over a 26 day period we did 5681 Kms. There were about 16 days of staying in same place and 10 days of travel where we did approx 500 Kms per day. I calculated petrol consumption to be .........."
Litres Used = 477.21
Total Cost: $646.36
Average: $1.35 per litre
Comprising: BP Ultimate = 260.16 ltrs, Caltex Vortex98 = 82.31 ltrs, Shell Optimax = 46.08 ltrs, Shell Premium = 63.44 ltrs & Mobil Synergy = 25.22 ltrs
This equates to 8.4 litres per 100Km, 11.9 Kms per litre and 33.62 mpg or $0.11c per Km
Theoretically, this would mean 48 litres X 11.0 Kms = 571 Kms per tank. However, if you're constantly in V-Tec, say doing a steep climb like Bright to Mt Hotham or doing laps at Phillip Island you'll get about 4.0 - 4.5 Kms per litre or about 200 Kms per tank.

Also for anything remotely accurate you need to do 4 runs in 2 directions, take away the best and worst and average the remaining 2.

I'm with you Rev,
Anyone who gets over 380km before the light goes on should hand their keys back and drive a fiesta for a week.

Better still just give it to Pech who has been suffering withdrawal symptoms & keeps wanting the keys to my car.
