tafka TMB, ya gotta get out of first gear mate!
But then it goes way too fast and bad things start to happen (i.e. the spin at the last track day).

P.S. What do the rest of you guys do? Leave it in 6th and just let the torque pull you around?

I average about 420km lol.

I think Mike-R said he once got 600km from a tank of non- stop highway driving.
Yeh, that was when I was driving back to Brisbane from down south. From memory I filled up in Newcastle, then again at Tenterfield. I don't think it was 600km but it was very close - 59x kms. I was impressed.

The older GTech without the graph comes in both metric and imperial flavours.

Not the ones that I've come across as they only showed imperial readings. They don't provide any buttons but the start/reset button ... do you know of a way to turn it into metric readings?

Also for anything remotely accurate you need to do 4 runs in 2 directions, take away the best and worst and average the remaining 2.

That I cannot disagree with.

cashout - i dont know what your doing wrong?!?! whats the best consumption youve had driving around town? in the smart?
I have never had to drive a full tankful in the city. But my best run to work (35 kms from Castle Hill to Double Bay via Pennant Hills Road/ Marsden Road/ Victoria Road/ Bathurst St/ William ST) was 4.8l/100km at 6:00 am. My worst was the same route at 9:00 am with a 40 minute extra delay for an accident on the Iron Bridge and the AC at full blast with 6.7l/100kms.

Driving around the suburbs at all hours I get 5.3 to 6.2l/100kms depending if it is peak hour and if the AC is on or not.

Oh, and at the track I get 8.3l/100kms
