What i did there was measure the volume (air) in that enclosure.. by finding this out it kinda tells you if the sub will sound good or not.. The Xtant needs anywhere from 30 to 45 litres in a sealed application..
And yeah i just scooped the foam out using a measuring cup..

That's a very clever method. Sort of a dehydrated Archimedes principle.

If you think thats funny.. have a look at the sub cover.. i made it out of MDF and an old OVEN rack!!... lol

Well everything is finished.. the sub install pics are there and the doors look completely stock. so theres really not much to show..
heres a pic of the H-Unit when its on...

How do you get the data (eg the jpg we see in that pic) onto the hu? Does it read off the cd and allow you to browse folders?

dBzerk,
I love the sub box...it looks awesome!!
Most importantly, how does it all sound???
With the sub, does it rattle the panels when it is pumping??
As i recall my friend tried to put a box in his S and his panels would rattle everytime the bass hits

Is the Nokia Handsfree integrated with the system? Is it just attentuation on hold or does it use the speakers for audio?
