One curious thing is that the club is a cash box. It has around $3k in net assets, and only a few financial members ......................... Maybe I should join, just so that I can propose such a resolution...
Some things never change

Here's another story about Fisty.......

One afternoon a wealthy lawyer was riding in his limousine when he saw two men along the roadside eating grass. Disturbed, he ordered his driver to stop and got out to investigate.

He asked one man, "Why are you eating grass?"

"We don't have any money for food," the poor man replied. "We have to eat grass."

"Well, then, you can come with me to my house and I'll feed you," the lawyer said.

"But sir, I have a wife and two children with me. They are over there, under that tree."

"Bring them along," the lawyer replied.

Turning to the other poor man he stated, "You come with us also."

The second man, in a pitiful voice then said, "But sir, I also have a wife and SIX children with me!"

"Bring them all, as well," the lawyer answered.

They all entered the car, which was no easy task, even for a car as large as the limousine. Once underway, one of the poor fellows turned to the lawyer and said, "Sir, you are too kind. Thank you for taking all of us with you."

The lawyer replied, "Glad to do it. You'll really love my place; the grass is almost a foot high!"

Coffs Harbour is too far away IMO (not that I don't want to meet cashout )

Also, I say stuff waiting for access to the Qld HSCC mail list. I've owned my car for 4 years and they've done stuff all in that time.

Let's just do it. We're dreaming if we think we're going to get 60-70 S2000s turning up. We don't need a large amount of cars. In fact it will probably be more fun with a small group IMO.

MUZ, When I said "access to membership data" I was referring to S2Ki not HSCC Qld.

They are two quite different things. I suspect that there are many times more Qld S2000 owners registered here on S2Ki than what there are with HSCC Qld.

I was assuming that as soon as V4 was bedded in that access to member data would be turned on again, and that this would not be a long time.

My apologies. I obviously misinterpreted that part of your post.

Regardless, I say 'seize the moment'. Let's just do it when the opportunity prevails or we'll still be sitting here at this time next year. I'm more than happy with a small group.

I agree. It would be too much to expect having so many S2000s show up the first time.

Lets just do it (and allow my Smart to go). These things take time to build up
(see the story of Fall Colors tour in the us - started with 15 cars, i think and last year had 140!)

For the October 2000 Indy race at the Gold Coast there was quite a large contingent of S2000s from Vic & NSW that went up.
