Hitech Exhausts have got a bit of a hard time here for outrageous power claims and the like but I can say one good thing about them. Their after-after-sales service is pretty good.

I have a second hand HiTech exhaust on my car and recently noticed a pin hole leak where the pipe divides into two.

I was driving around the inner west using my 'suck it and see' navigation system (just drive in the general direction and discover new routes and dead ends with pretty much equal frequency) when I came across HiTech in Leichhardt. So I pulled in.

The guy was busy and pissed off at his employees who either hadn't showed up or were late back from lunch. But he put my car up in the hoist and welded it on the spot. The whole procedure took all of 5 minutes.

IMHO that's for Hitech service!

Good stuff.... more companies should think about giving this sort of service; as it does not take much and more often, it is the 'little things' that make the difference between good and ordinary service!!

I hope 'Yamaha Australia', think the same way - given my Yamaha 'YST-SW800' active Subwoofer, quit on me recently.... just 9 days out of its 2 year warranty period!? I'm still waiting on diagnosis, what it'll cost to repair and whether Yamaha will fork out the dosh - as a gesture of 'good will/service'?!

COOOOL

Your exhaust looks very nice on the last drive day. It's not droning loud and sounds very nice as well.
