Vic HSCC Phillip Island Track Day - 8th September.
Folks we are pleased to announce that we are now in the process of finalising arrangements for the next Vic HSCC track day. We have brought forward the event from the 15th to the 8th due to clashes with the GTP race at Sandown the following weekend.
The 8th is scheduled as a regular PIARC (Phillip Island Auto Racing Club) day and we wil be sharing the track with other users. However, if we are able to get a group of 20-30 of us together we can likely arrange it so we are only mixing it with other club members rather than a free for all.
They normally give each group 20 minutes (about 8-10 laps) per run and with 4-6 groups usually on a day you can expect 5 or more runs.
Entry cost is being finalised and will be somewhere between $80 to $90. Food is not included in the entry fee , though there is the canteen in the pits, and Cowes isn

Good to hear Iggy. You can have two drivers as long as each meets the requirement (i.e. cams licence, helmet, non flammable clothing).
PM me with your email address and I will send you further details.

Iggy - left your number at home...
Videos are allowed, as long as they are (very) securely mounted.
And out of interest, how do you do 360s in a FWD - I never managed THAT...

Thaks for that Billy!!! Mine will be VERY securely mounted.
As for the 360s ... have you ever driven an ITR? Let me tell you I've never seen a FWD get oversteer on a regular basis!!!! (well... you have to be trying ... but you know what I mean!? )
Just wait till the 8th... you'll see a FWD to 360s probably!

OK OK I didn't to a 360 ... I was just making the situation a bit more dramatic! What happened was this:
Going into a right hand 6-7k Rev range in 3rd turn ... pulled all the way to the left to use all the track that I could and must have stepped on the grass with the rear left tire cause the rear just flew out from under me. Did a few massive fishtailies and got it back pointing into the back of the pace car
The Honda Rep was in teh pace car at the time and he was complaning later that he missed it all! heheheh.
Now I know some of you may think that I am just a BS artist... I wasn't being serious about the 360s, it was a good dramatic effec tho.
