I had the flu the other week and have been having really weird dreams since (waking up with the sheets drenched in sweat). The latest one was the other night:

I was about 8 yrs old and had 8 brothers and sisters of various ages. Somehow we got separated from our parents and they got amnesia so they kept running away from us, even to the point of trowing things at us to keep us away. I woke up when I hit my head against a wall trying to avoid a shovel being swung at me! And spent the whole day(in real life) with a nasty headache (drugs didn't help)
Is it a full moon because I didn't get a good night's sleep all of last week. Didn't have the flu but every night I was dreaming and waking up with my pillow and sheets drenched in sweat but I haven't been remembering what they were about. I've been sleep walking a lil' bit too I go through phases like this when I'm stressed out a bit like back in uni during hard exams when I was working too much to study. I'd sleep walk at least once per night and it got to the stage where my room mate would laugh and ask me silly questions and I'd drift into consciousness and get really frustrated realising straight away that I was dreaming again

<pointless yet slightly related fact>
I saw plenty of sleep walkers during my days in the army. Not being given a chance to sleep more than 4 hours a night for 3 months (jungle warfare training) really got some people's stress levels sky high.
<End of pointless yet slightly related fact>

I think the level of stress is quite different... you didn't risk falling from a helicopter or activating a mine or getting disconnected from your co-workers and getting hopelesly lost on a daily basis did you?
Not to mention the 30Kg worth of gear strapped to you whilst crossing a river 40 meters deep after marching for 40Kms...
