Good question Bernie!

My 'on-topic' sticky was posted at a time when the Australian forum was being used as a soapbox for opinions on world affairs. That is not why it was provided.

As with the UK board Off-Topic posts are welcomed when they are contributed to in accordance with the rules of the board. The last thing I want is for the community that exists on the board to be driven away but on the other hand I had a lot of PMs from members who felt that things had got more than a little out of hand.

What I would say then is 'keep it civil'.
