The drivers supposedly felt the race was boring too. Perhaps Liberty will make some changes to make the race more exciting. It is rather telling that Ricciardo was able to hold off the field even while he was 25% down on power as everyone was managing to a one stop strategy

Problem is it's too hard to pass at Monaco and everyone was driving slow to conserve their soft tires. If you have to pit you won't get your position back cause you'll be in traffic behind cars slower than you with no opportunity to pass.

It could've got interesting though if teams had pitted when there was the gap between 6th and 7th place with like 18 laps to go. There was no drive to want to do better though, the teams could've reacted. When the pit window disappeared due to Daniel's car issue it then became parade laps.
