One positive for Fernando is he can just chill out once the 24 hours is done until its time for Practice 1 on Friday.

Will pick a choice after the results of first and second practice owing to the newness of the circuit to the current gen F1 cars as well as drivers.

Voted for Ricciardo. While he may not have the qualifying pace, it does look like in race mode he will be a force to reckon with.

I see no comments here. Is that because it all went very predictably?

I thought there was some good racing lower in the pack, and then you had the recovery drives from Seb and Bottas. Lewis was unchallenged at the front and it does appear that the season is headed his way. Seb seems to be making too many mistakes. Next up is the British GP and that has to bode very well for Lewis.

McLaren seem to be in dire straits. It’s hard to see how they’ve fallen given their history and heritage. I suspect more changes will be coming sooner than later.

As far as the driver of the race, I think that honor should go to LeClerc. He not only qualified well but drove a good race to finish in the points.
