Hey, TO Marco. I really missed not being able to drive the track before the race! I sure hope you found the time to run some laps on the Malaysian track before ya watched the race.

 

I only did about 8 laps, hopefully I get a chance to do a few laps of Bahrain before this weekend!

Oh, the flavor of the month is this.
OMP HA/688/B Grip.
It would be in black for sure, but the red pic shows the shape of the seat better. And of course, the yellow in the OMP logo will look perfect in my car.



I may have to drive to f'ing New Jersey to do a test fit...

 

Hey Doug... awesome seat.

I've decided on the Evo with the tiatec rails.

 

The Evo is a very nice seat, I have sat in it several times at the store up in Mississauga. The big reason I'm thinking OMP Grip is because the max wing width of the Evo is 23.62", the max wing width of Marco's Spoons is 22.05" and his seats just clear the doors. The Grip is 22.80" so there will be much less shaving on the wings, but because the seat bottom is 20.50" wide compared to the Evo's 19.69" I'm not 100% sure yet the Grip will fit well.

Buying seats has been the biggest challenge ever, and yes, the Tiatec rails are what I'll be going with if I can ever decide on a seat...
