im not gonna say shes the best driver the in irl but she by far is not the worst! there are lost of drivers in irl that have never won races. and even the best drivers in the world spin out going in and out of the pits, hornish did it the same track and the same location she did earlier in the season, and zanardi lost his legs cuz of it.

so saying simply cuz she has spun out a couple times doesn't mean shes not any good... hell dario ran into the back of someone cuz he didnt know the race was over, does that mean hes not any good now?

she is a good driver but just as marco and even dario have shown this year, sometimes u have bad luck... unfortunately for her i think thats multiplied by not just how much pressure everyone else puts on her but also how much she puts on herself. when any driver feels that much pressure they are gonna make stupid mastakes just like dario did in the later half of the season.

she finished 7th in points, started on the front row twice (and the drivers carry extra weight with them now if they are under a certain weight so don't say anything about that), had two 3rds and a 2nd this year. The real question is what does she have to do for people to stop treating her different cuz shes a woman?

and before anyone says oh ur just a danica fan, im not. my favorate driver is marco. but i like everyone in the irl. i am never disapointed by who wins cuz i think they are are great... now that cheaver is gone, and excluding milka...

Zanardi is not paralyzed. His feet are amputated. Two very different things.

Huh? I'd say the NHRA is full of women who have had a lot more proven success than Danica.
no offence but u could train a monkey to shift when the light turns on, everyone on this fourm can get down a drag strip successfully.

i dont believe anyone here on this forum could maneuver a 700+ hp indy car (with no traction control, no abs and no power steering) at speed around a road or street course, let alone finish a whole race or even finish 2nd at one.

You are revealing your ignorance here. You do know, don't you, that every cylinder of Hillary Will's top fuel dragster makes more power than Danica's entire engine? And she has no traction control or power steering either, but she's got to launch it and keep it straight at over 300 mph.

"Everyone on this forum can get down a drag strip successfully"? Not in a top fuel dragster they couldn't.

I was at Etown this year for Friday qualifying. The difference between the sheer violence of a TF Dragster or Funny Car vs the competition classes is beyond explanation. While we speak highly of those capable of runnin 12s and 11s in powerful street (or purpose built cars), the speeds go up incredibly as you get to 10s, 9, 8 all the way down to the 4.5s. The people at the top levels have as much talent as any others in motor sports.

The slightest wheel spin, loss of traction or misshift not only likely removes any chance of winning that particular race, but at those speeds potentially endangers their life.

Just so you know,It takes a hell of alot more skill and courage to get behind the wheel of a 7000hp dragster than a 700hp indy car.

By the way, no offense, but even a monkey can be trained to use capital letters. Some of these kids who grow up texting "u r so gr8! bff!" don't seem to realize that it makes them look like morons when used in other contexts.
