Dude, it was announced before the season ever started that FOX would carry four races: Canadian, French, British, German. You don't really have to be guessing here.

I wouldn't be surprised, actually, if it isn't F1 that is insisting on this as a condition for allowing Fox to carry F1 on their cable channel, Speed.
i did not hear about this! where was i when this was announced? boo!

Serious what happened to kimi, i thought he said he liked the set up of the car during the testing sessions. i guess they tried tweaking the set up some more and it wasn't as good.

Absolutely. FA is taking basically a 10-14th place car beyond where it should be on his pure skill. If he was in a Ferrari or McLaren he would be schooling the field.
You and I probably disagree on a lot. On this issue, you are spot on. FA is one of the few drivers, maybe besides Kubica, who has smoothly transitioned to F1 cars without electronic aids like traction control and engine braking.

Is it me or has Mclaren really got their act together since the French GP? Both cars have been fast at Silverstone and now Hockenheim.

The passes on Massa and Piquet by Hamilton were awesome! Once again, where are the Lewis Hamilton "haters"?

Kimi must be feeling pretty low about how Filipe is getting so much more out of the same chassis. And Ferrari must be scratching their collective head over Kimi as well. Does he have a contract for next year?

I heard the rumors, but I think a lot depends on whom he is teamed with. He needs a clear number two, someone who will not challenge him. If Ferrari gets him, I am not sure that someone like Kimi and he would produce good chemistry. The thing that I would like about FA, if I were a team manager, would be is his reputed ability to assist in development because he is good in giving the engineers feedback. I think the McLaren has missed that most after his departure.

Not to name drop, but my wife and I attended a fundraiser here in Orlando and met and spoke with W when he was a candidate in 2000.

Why is FOX showing the German GP? I can understand the Canadian GP since it would be live for ppl to watch in NA, but 5 hour delay for every race after the Canadian GP? I hope they go back to speed live, but they are probably making more money with FOX.

Now that my little rant is over, what an impressive drive from piquet. Could this cause Alonso to leave Renault for sure? Massa with some mistakes towards the end. tsk tsk

P.S. Damn I guess if Doug doesn't start a thread about a F1 race, then no one will start one? I may have to help out ;p. Anyways everyone discuss plz
piquet had a good drive WITH ALOT OF LUCK
if glocks yota wouldn't have fell appart (and i hate saying this) hamilton might have finished a lap over piquet and everyone else
