Bernie is such a whore. I mean, he'd get abused by Nazi hookers if he was paid... oh, right, he did that. I'm still pissed about losing Silverstone.
You are slightly confused.

Sorry Pen, that was the other greatly gifted F1 leader, Max...

And yes, greatly gifted is sarcasm as thick as a brick!

You must be rather young, considering Williams is competeing in their 35th year in F1 and in that 35 years they have NINE WCC and SEVEN WDC.

gTr, I just figure Jenson won't play second fiddle but that'd work too. I just wanted to bust Marco's chops!
Jenson has a few years left in him so playing second fiddle to FA in team which might be very competitive very soon is not a bad option and its not like he is the king of Honda right now.

Just a little extract from Wiki.

" Williams' first race was the 1978 Argentine Grand Prix, and Switzerland's Clay Regazzoni won Williams' first race at the 1979 British Grand Prix. At the 1997 British Grand Prix, Canadian Jacques Villeneuve won the team's 100th race, making Williams one of only three teams in Formula One, alongside Ferrari and fellow British team McLaren, to win 100 races. Williams won nine Constructor's titles between 1980 and 1997. This stood as a record until Ferrari surpassed it in 2000.

Many famous racing drivers have driven for Williams, including Finland's Keke Rosberg; Britain's Nigel Mansell and Damon Hill; France's Alain Prost and Brazil's Nelson Piquet and Ayrton Senna, and Canada's Jacques Villeneuve, each of whom, with the exception of Senna, have captured one Drivers' title with the team "

Don't dissmiss them yet.

Do yourself a favor and at least rent the movie "Grand Prix" to get an appreciation of the history of F1 (Hollywood style)

have u ever realized that williams has always been a privateer team. same thing as minardi was. Honda never owned part of the team, nor did BMW. Unfortunately they've been on a slump, need to merge w/ an engine manufacture and get more sponsors for a bigger budget.
