Massa pretty much solidified his nail in the coffin to his Ferrari career
Kimi's championship is slipping away.
Kimi's championship is slipping away.
With 8 races remaining even Nick Heidfeld has a chance!

I know Mercedes has owns part of McLaren, but I didn't know it was 50%. I also thought Mercedes wanted to split with McLaren and start their own works team?
Ferrari
Renault
Honda
Toyota
the privateers:
Bmw sauber
super aguri honda
redbull renault
toro rosso ferrari
mclaren mercedes
force india ferrari
williams toyota
with a privateer (big budget or not, and also road car or not)
for example :bmw sauber
engine supplier-bmw
chassis-sauber
BMW use to be an engine supplier. Sauber was a privateer until they were bought out by BMW. So BMW are using experience and information while hiring the engineers from Sauber to be BMW engineers. In other words, BMW Sauber is a works team. You can say the relationship with McLaren and Mercedes is similar. I guess you can take what I have said differently. I don't want to get into an argument that will lead to personal attacks, but I don't think a lot of ppl consider McLaren Mercedes a privateer team.

for me factory team is the team thats owned by the manufacturer, making it a works team. I've never applied the fact that if they make road cars to the equation. my view. even when williams was partners with BMW and no1 else used their engines, they weren't a true factory team, because BMW didn't own any part of williams.
But Mclaren did make the Mclaren F1 and SLR chassis, so they could be considered in your view a manufacture.
BMW bought all shares Sauber, they only kept the name Sauber in respects to Peter and the history of the team. Peter actually put a second wind tunnel at the factory a few years ago so that if he ever sold the team, it would continue in Switzerland. Hence why BMW didn't move the operation to Munich.

I did not like Heike stepping aside so obviously in the hairpin. You fellows need acting lessons! McCheaters are prospering.
