Well written, really puts you into copy boy's situation.

And let me just say, we are all damn glad he was a "rabid Ferrari fan"!!!

LOVE THIS!

Unlike Nascar, which keeps the field evenly matched by restricting what race teams can do to their cars, Formula One is all about fine-tuning the vehicles. There are a few general regulations (called the formula), which dictate things like the number of cylinders an engine can have and the car's maximum length. Everything else can be tweaked. The top teams

Now more than ever, Micheal is my hero...

By 2006 Stepney, who had earnings estimated to be upwards of $1 million a year, held enormous clout, deciding which mechanics went on the road

F1 is more like NASCAR every year in this regard.

Fixed cylinder count, fixed V-angle, fixed redline, fixed ECU fercryinoutloud!

BTW, I'm not (never been) a NASCAR fan.

But I'm becoming less of an F1 fan every day.

Yeah, way to lose it all over pride. I'd take a consistent $1 million / year over not being Technical Director.
You've got to understand, people who aspire to this level in F1 will never have that attitude. It is all about pride and clout. Money just follows.

What powder was that in the gas-tank incident?

And washing the gravel in the driveway? WTF? Or is that just somebody's smarmy take on a procedure to keep dust down?
